Our Own Value
Have you ever considered that in order to live our lives on Earth we must actually perform many many tasks for others. Even when we are inside mother we are performing a degree of fulfillment for mother and father and perhaps other family. All throughout our lives we continue to fulfill either expectations or needs of others.
Now needless to say others do this for us as well. However I'm bring this up because at this time of year many of you question your own value. I'm not saying that this doesn't come up as an issue at other times but at this time of year when we are very sensitive to things we have and things we don't have it's very typical to question our own value.
I'd like to say right now that aside from doing what you can to be kind and benevolent with others it's important to remember that we are all united at a deep level and very often we are doing something for someone else that we don't even know about.
So...I'll have more to say about these things in time but I'm just mentioning this now so that you can consider something - a little homework, not complicated.
I'd like you to write down a list. It might take you a day or a week to just notice okay...you can make notes, it doesn't have to be formal - I'm not going to come around and check your papers :-) Write down a list of something you felt you might have done for somebody that day. Something good.
Don't write down things like - I told him off or I put her in her place - not that. Write down things that you feel you might have done for somebody - you open a door for somebody - you don't often think about that or you help somebody carry something and then you forgot about it.
The reason I want you to do this is to remind yourself that you do good things for people.

Helping To Resolve Regret
Someone has asked a question: what to do about that vague feeling of regret that you might have. Perhaps you have a quick image and then it's gone and you can't quite remember it.
This is possible because sometimes we imagine that what we regret is worse than it was in its impact on others. Other times we downplay its impact on others and still other times it is only a feeling because we are unable to tap into the pictures or anything else that reminds us of why we have this feeling.
I want to give you something you can do today about that. It is gentle and not demanding but it may be of some comfort.
First, this is something that can be done at night or day - it doesn't make any difference. If it is daytime then try to look towards the sun in the sky, always closing your eyes so that it is safe.
If it is nighttime then look towards the moon in the sky - and you can glance at the moon of course with your eyes open - but regardless of what time of day it is also connect to either the sun or the moon so that you connect to both of them you understand?
And thus you can ask - after you make that connection to the sun and the moon - ask for all the most benevolent energies to be all around and about you to support you that are available for you in that moment. Then pause with your eyes closed trying to picture nothing else than the sun and the moon.
Then say the following words, "I am asking that all I regret in thought and feeling be resolved now in the safest and most benevolent way for all beings and that as that resolution takes place benevolently that these feelings and thoughts fade from my mind and body so I can be reassured that all is well."
That's what I recommend. Goodlife.

My New Christmas Story
Greetings. Just a note to let you know that my new Christmas story is up on my Nice Little Stories blog.

Contributing
Have you ever wanted to be able to help in a situation but there was just no way you could do so directly. There's any number of reasons why this might be the case but simply put - if such a situation does develop then this is what to do.
First ask that all the most benevolent energies available for you be all around and about you and then wait. Then if you can, also ask that the most benevolent energy of the sun and the moon also be with you and wait. Some of you might feel some energy during this time but if you don't just wait for about a half a minute or so but don't look at your watch or clock.
After that simply say, "I am asking that..." (then you list the names of the people or as briefly as possible the circumstance - if you don't know the names of the people then just list the circumstance or possibly even a news event) "...receive all the help, love and support they need now from all those beings who can help them in the most benevolent way for them."
Wait because there might be energy that comes through and always remember if at any time when you're going to begin - even before you say a word you feel a lot of energy just wait for that energy to pass. It's probably acting on this living prayer you will be saying and if it comes up during the time you say the words - again wait till it fades and then you can continue to the end.
After that there's another important thing to do and that's just let it go. If there is no way you can help directly you see, this is what you have done. This is what you can do. Let it go and go on with your life. That's just as important because it allows you to have your life and you've still contributed the best you have to offer to the situation. Goodlife.
