Co-operative Vision, Part 3

Last time we continued on with our co-operative vision. This time I want to go a bit farther - maybe you might say quite a bit farther.

This time I'd like you to imagine yourself on the Moon and look back towards the Earth. Of course you won't be able to see yourself but you could imagine yourself seeing yourself from the Moon.

Picture yourself on the Moon and feel the ground under your feet. I know you cannot do it physically but imagine it. You can sit down on the Moon if you want to and feel the dusty crumbly soil of the Moon. Then look back at the Earth. You will be able to imagine what it looks like because you have seen pictures.

Look back towards the Earth - imagine yourself looking up towards the Moon on the Earth and try to imagine what that looks like. If you can't imagine, ask the Moon to help you because the Moon "sees" the Earth all the time and for all we know might see individuals.

Try this at least once and then if you wish you can imagine yourself being on Mars and doing this all the while looking back towards the Earth and imagining yourself looking towards that planetary body.

I'll say more about this in about a week but for now co-operative vision is something that will be very important for you in the future.

Goodlife.

Co-operative Vision, Part 2

Last time we began by creating a different point of view - being able to see from a direction where you could not normally see.

This time I'd like you to look a little farther away. This will remind you perhaps of our Long Vision or Long Touch work we've done before but the whole point here is seeing at a distance.

Last time many of you started with an animal, a creature of some sort but some of you had to use a rock or a tree. This time I'd like you to look farther in the distance. Remember, don't use a human being and don't use anything built by human beings such as a building.

If you can, look well off in the distance as far as you can see. It might be a rocky ledge, it might be a tree way off in the distance. If it is a bird that you can see flying way off in the distance that's alright too. Again ask your question, "Is it alright if I look from your perspective to see what you see?" Then do that.

You understand this is something where we are using your imagination. In a way you're making your best guess of what you would be able to see if you were there but you're also working with the rock, the tree, the bird or whatever being you're engaging with. This is a form of co-operative vision - something we're studying here now.

Again look in the general direction where you might be so you could imagine seeing yourself from a distance or seeing the terrain around you or somewhere near you. As I say, look where you may be.

After you have done this work looking at yourself from a distance that way then we will go on in part 3 to do a little more but what I would like to suggest is that you do this from at least two or three different positions so you can see yourself and your surroundings at a distance.

Goodlife.

Co-operative Vision, Part 1

Have you ever seen, in the distance approaching, a bird off in the distance but headed in your general direction to fly over you and beyond.

The feeling associated with this, if you're really looking at that bird, is something that almost allows you to identify with the bird. It doesn't take too much imagination to imagine riding with that bird and looking down at the ground and seeing yourself and that which is around you. Today I'd like to expose you to the possibilities of doing just that with a bird or some other form of life but not a human being.

This is what I suggest, and it doesn't require that there be a bird. Look around where you live. Look specifically towards that which is natural around you - a rocky outcropping, anything like that.

There may be birds there, there may be squirrels there - some other form of life - perhaps just a beetle. Something that you see with some regularity.

If you see some creature like that and you look at the creature for a moment, ask out loud - whisper if you like, "May I see what you are seeing?"

You're really asking to look through the eyes of that being. If they stay where they are this is an acknowledgment - yes - unless they are doing something specific where they have to stay there but if you cannot see them doing something specific where they have to stay there, such as a bird feeding her young in a nest, then the fact that they stayed there means that that permission is granted.

Then imagine looking through their eyes. Don't look at them in that sense...don't imagine what it's like being them. Just imagine their perception. What do they see. Don't get attached to what science says they see and how they see, in the case of a fly for instance, just imagine what you would see if your eyes were there and you were looking out from their perspective.

You may live someplace where animals in the free are not available, perhaps not even a moth. Then look for a tree or any rocky outcropping and imagine yourself there and look from there and see what you can see. You may not know what this is about but I'll build on it later.

Goodlife.

More On Balance

At this time in the world there are so many different reasons to believe that - he did it, she did it, they did it. I've talked about this before but it's really important now to get past blaming. Blaming is a way of anchoring ourselves in the past and in order to be able to cure things to bring about balance, ease and prosperity for us all we may have to - on a personal individual basis - try to let go of blame.

I grant that those who are disrupting, harming or hurting must have their actions corrected though I question whether the type of suffering one may experience in many prisons around the world will cause people to correct these actions or whether they will come out more self-destructive and destructive to others. I do not claim to know about these matters but it is something I am concerned about as I'm sure you are.

In order to move into balance now the present is the most safe and benevolent place for us very often. I'm not talking about our surroundings, I'm talking about that moment in time that is right here, right now as you're reading this.

This present moment is much easier to be in touch with if we simply reach down to our chest or to any part of our body, as people often do, and touch ourselves. Sometimes it's for this or that reason but I recommend touching yourself gently in the middle of your chest. This can help to bring about a reminder of being in the present.

I have felt into my own past many times and sometimes I find comfort there and joy. Other times I find discomfort and sadness. I'm sure you have done the same. Occasionally I've felt into my future and felt other things there - perhaps you have done likewise but always when I have felt into the present moment, the exact present moment I have often felt ease there.

I feel in the present moment we're not demanding anything of ourselves. Our mind may be going over and over - we should do this, we should do that - but in the present moment if you can - try to not think. When I do that I feel a lot better.

Towards that end if you like, you may say the following benevolent magic. As always, ask for the most benevolent energies to be present with you and all around and about you before you say this and relax, then say the words exactly as I have them here and if you feel energy afterwards and during just relax into that energy.

I recommend you say, "I request that I be able to find solace and comfort always in the present moment, that my present moments will always feel nurturing and comfortable to me, that I will feel safe when I focus on that and that this will all occur in the most benevolent way for me and result in the most benevolent outcome." That's what I recommend you say if you like.

Remember - life is all about learning but the foundation is about love and the type of love I'm talking about is that which accepts unconditionally and provides unconditionally - not something that has to do with demand.

Goodlife.

Know Yourself By Choice

How to know that you are loved or liked by people you care about. This is a difficult one isn't it. We all struggle with this sometimes.

And yet how do we know what's in the mind or feelings of another. The best we can do is observe and try to pick up hints from what they say - but when they are saying something even if it is kind to us and they are speaking directly to us without any distraction as far as you can tell in their presentation of comments to you - then notice how you feel.

If you are relaxed and you suddenly feel uncomfortable, your body may be picking up a conflict from them or you may just as well be picking up a conflict from you. After all, how do you feel about them - how you really feel. It's hard to know, isn't it.

I do not pretend to be nor do I claim to be a therapist, a professional counselor, a psychologist - none of those things though they are all honorable professions and I do honor them. What I do say though is that the best thing we can do to know our own feelings, much less those of others, is to work on ourselves.

I know most of you work on yourselves all the time and it is my intention, with these blogs, to help you to do just that and along the way to perhaps provide a little advice and guidance on the basis of what works for me. I am hopeful that it is of some help to you.

On that note though let me simply say I recommend the following living prayer. You might say if you like, "I am asking that I be able to clearly understand my own motivations, my own feelings and my own perceptions in the most benevolent way for me and that that knowledge and wisdom on my part help me to get along better in the world with those I care about and those whom I meet."

You understand that when we make these requests in this form that we are asking for the help of spirits and divine beings and Creator itself of course.

We cannot expect such abilities to happen instantaneously or overnight but some will come along or perhaps experiences will happen and since we add the word, "benevolently" or in this particular case, "benevolent" we are asking for those experiences to happen benevolently so that we can learn without having to suffer and learn. I feel that learning benevolently is better, I'm sure you agree.

So this little reminder is brought to you by me in hopes that it will help you to feel not only our kinship as fellow human beings but also help you to feel better in time about yourself through personal growth, change, adaptation and welcoming. Welcoming in this sense means not only you welcoming life but life welcoming you.

On that note - welcome. Goodlife.

More On Letting Go

I know many of you are going through very difficult times right now. It seems to be happening all over the world. I want to remind you that there are opportunities - good things can happen but something that works for me is what I would recommend for you as well. I know I've mentioned this before but it's important to have a reminder now and then isn't it. Remember to let go.

Just take a breath and lean back in a chair and release that breath and just totally relax for a moment.

Try to do this with the phone ringer off and without any worry about anyone demanding your attention in that moment - it'll take less than a minute. Just take a deep breath, just one - not too deep just deep enough and let it out in a natural way - don't blow it out and while you're letting it out just completely let go of your body and relax. You can do this when you're lying down if you prefer.

If you want to add something to it with words you can right after you release that breath. Just say, "I give up." I know it's hard sometimes to say that because we're trained to do everything but give up but I've been guided and I believe on the basis of my experience that the physical feeling of giving up is the exact same feeling of letting go and for those of you who find the idea of letting go to be vague - I'll bet you've had to give up at one time or another with something.

If you haven't then just do the breath and the relaxation but if you have given up before you know that it's the same.

It creates a release and you let go of all attachments in thought and in feeling in that moment.

Try it at least once a week and then just forget about it afterwards. Don't think about it, don't expect anything one way or the other but it can lead to good things down the road in time.

Goodlife.

Flexing Your Living Prayer Muscles

There is a task I will ask of you now, those of you who've been reading and studying and practicing what I have had to offer here on this blog, and I will ask you to do these things in the future more often now.

There are many situations on the planet where there is great suffering. What I'm going to ask is for you to say a living prayer but in a special way. You can fill in the name of any place or group of people.

This is what I recommend you say, "I am asking that the hearts, souls and bodies of all those beings I identify as..." (fill in the names of the people) "...in..." (fill in the place or the general area) "...be insulated and protected from harm now as they go through the challenges they face day to day and that their mental powers be sharp and their physical bodies be strong and their hearts and souls be in alignment with themselves and each other."

When you say this, prepare first by requesting that the energy of the sun, the moon and the center of the galaxy where stars are created be with you and that you be blessed by Creator.

If possible, stand outside on the ground wearing leather soled shoes if possible or barefoot. If the weather is harsh you may do this indoors if necessary.

The purpose of this is to spread around the capabilities, the capacities and the inherited traits that we as the human race actually have. The sun because it gives energy and light to the planet. The moon because it reflects that light in a very special way and the center of the galaxy because there is the source of creation as it is in the center of all galaxies and Creator of course as creation itself.

Please do this in your own time, in your own place wherever you may be. Goodlife.
