Helping Your Dog Help Yourself

Have you ever had the experience of your dog acting strangely - tired, listless, no energy and of course you take your dog to the Vet to be checked over maybe more than once and they can find nothing.

So if this is the case and you have taken your dog to the Vet maybe more than once then I'm going to suggest you try something. For dogs, especially dogs you see, love us so much that they will sometimes take something on for us if it is too much for us to bear.

We live lives that are very often loaded with stress and sometimes there are burdens as well, challenges you understand, that are a daily or weekly or occasional experience.

Our dogs will often take on some of this energy to lighten the load for us.

I'm going to recommend, especially for those of you who've been reading this blog for a long time, to apply some of what you've learned here. First I'm going to recommend that you say, "I am asking that I experience all of the support, love and benevolent energy available for me that I may help my dog now." Then wait, see if you feel something. If you don't, just wait about two to three minutes.

Then if your dog is there I recommend you say, "I am asking that gold light beings and light beings who are compatible with the gold light come now with dog golden spirit and remove all of the energies that are harming my dog or could harm my dog."

Make sure that your dog is not sitting on you when you are doing this. Make sure that your dog is a distance away and observe how it goes for your dog.

It is possible that your dog will fall asleep during this or go into a state where dog is very quiet. They will perhaps feel something and will relax into it.

I have had some experience with this and I grant that what I do to help dogs is a little different but I want to share this with you, what I have to offer in this case, because I am so fond of dogs and other four leggeds.

So if your dog is more energetic afterwards and seems to be his or her old self then what I'd recommend is for you to say the following Living Prayer, for the others were Living Prayers too.

Before you go to sleep at night or at any time when you are relaxing for a while especially if you're not in contact with someone else's body or even a dog or cat - say this, "I am asking that all those energies that are overwhelming me and that are causing me to be tired and stressed be removed from my body in the most benevolent way now."

And of course what I mean by "those energies" is not necessarily the tasks you have to do but the burden and the stress which can sometimes take an energetic form and weigh us down.

Try to do this last Living Prayer for your body at least once every other day or even once a day. If you go to sleep after saying it that's fine but if not then wait where ever you are after having said it - wait at least 10 minutes and try to move as little as possible. Don't have the phone ringer on if you can help it - no TV, no radio - as quiet as possible - and then perhaps you will feel better and maybe a dog won't have to take things on for you.

This is not to blame you or for you to feel bad but rather for you to notice how wonderful your dog is, how much your dog wants to help you and to just allow these wonderful light beings to clear you off of energies that may be harming you or causing difficulty for you.

You will feel better perhaps. I am hopeful that you will and maybe your dog will feel better too.

Goodlife.

Timelessness With A Spiritual Cat

I was thinking about this the other day because I was recalling my time in Colorado - a beautiful place. I particularly like Durango and my friends there.

I recall one time when I was in the living room of one of my friends trying to explain something to her that I'd seen in a vision. It was a vision of ancient times on this planet - perhaps Egypt, perhaps just something that we identify with Egypt - I don't know the place but that's what it felt like.

I was trying to describe what people would do there - initiates perhaps or what we sometimes call priests of those times.

In the course of the explanation I was attempting to describe how spiritual cats of that time would interact with those who were attempting to help people.

If the healing or helping person could not grasp what it was to be done for that person who needed help or they didn't have enough energy and needed a little bit more to assist that person back to better health then the cat who was involved in such work with that healing or helping person, and they would have had a close tie you see, would then get on that person's right arm and wrap themselves around that arm so that the cat's head would be resting just past or on the wrist.

And the healer person would by holding the cat and the cat gripping with its forelegs the forearm of the person aim their arm with the cat on it towards that person, place or thing that they were attempting to help and the cat would somehow support that endeavor but it was hard to describe this to my friend and she didn't quite understand.

Her cat, one of my all time favorite cats, was listening to all of this and suddenly she jumped up and placed herself exactly like that wrapping herself around my arm and resting her head on my wrist holding on tight the way I was describing.

I remember my friend looking at her cat with wonder and I enjoyed the experience very much and when I was done with my story, cat got down and walked away.

Who says they don't understand us. I think our beloved four leggeds understand everything we say. Just because they don't always go along with what we want doesn't mean they don't understand what we're talking about. I don't know if they understand our words but they sure do understand our meaning. Aren't they wondrous beings. My hats off to cats and dogs and other beloved four leggeds we live with.

Lessons From My Cat

I remember times in the past when things were hard - you understand - hard times, right.

One day when my cat was still with me she hopped up onto my lap and started purring and I find that so very comforting. I started petting her and she purred a little louder and I felt myself relaxing and feeling better.

At one point she looked up at me - just looked right at me and I always knew because she was a very spiritual cat that when she looked at me pointedly like that that something was going on that she felt I ought to pay attention to. I gave it some thought and it occurred to me that my cat was showing me how to give by receiving.

Think about it. I didn't feel good and I was unhappy at that time and my cat jumped up into my lap as I said and I started to feel better because she laid down on my legs and just by being, just by existing and by making that sound I liked and by keeping me company I was comforted and yet she was receiving because I was petting her. Petting her made me feel better.

Is it not a wondrous thing how our four legged friends, dogs or cats or others, can comfort us by receiving. I feel that sometimes we give by receiving as well and the other way around can happen also.

My feeling is that there are other circumstances like this that I recall. I recall being down in the past - depressed and worn out by life - you know what I mean and someone needed what I had to offer - called me up or came up to me and even though I was tired I provided what I could and afterwards I felt better about that and in a way I realized that I was giving - yes but I was also receiving and it reminds me of that time with my beloved cat.

Heroes

Do we really need to be superheros with super powers to be honored, appreciated, respected and loved?

When I was looking the other day at the TV schedule I was struck by how the entertainment industry is catering to our needs - are they - or are they providing us with needs. I am not certain but what's going on is the idea of presenting a world as too complicated for human beings to resolve - problems - but superheros can do it.

I am not at odds with the entertainment industry for providing much needed entertainment and relief but I am a little concerned that every day heroes are not always appreciated.

Mother and Father working hard to make a good life for children - and older children working hard at school to succeed and perhaps helping out younger brothers and sisters and guiding them and yes, at times protecting them - and what about people in jobs - ordinary everyday jobs - not jobs identified with the heroic such as police or district attorneys as sometimes celebrated in entertainment world. While we appreciate and need them there are other jobs that are vitally important as well.

Teachers who guide and form and support our morals and values and principals. Yes, parents do this - yes religion and philosophy does this but what we are taught at school has such a great deal to do with how we perceive the world doesn't it? And teachers, even within the curriculum that they are provided which has certain rigidities, can often inspire us and encourage us not only to be interested with the answers and explanations but to learn how to ask questions and to feel safe in asking them.

We have so many heroes amongst us - look around. Look around in your town, look around in your neighborhood, look around in your family and look in the mirror. There's a lot more than we think about.

Goodlife to you all and goodnight.
